Door panels are essential components of a car's interior, providing both functional and aesthetic benefits. Made through the plastic injection molding process, door panels require precise moulds to achieve the desired shape and design. At our company, we specialize in the manufacturing of door panel moulds, utilizing advanced techniques and materials to deliver high-quality results.
We take into consideration factors such as design, dimensions, and material specifications to ensure accurate replication of the door panel.
The mould manufacturing process begins with a detailed analysis of the client's needs. Using CAD software and tools, we design a 3D model of the mould, allowing for visual assessment and optimization of its functionality. Our engineers pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every contour and feature is accurately incorporated into the mould design.
To ensure the durability and performance of our door panel moulds, we utilize suitable steel known for their strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. The mould steel is carefully chosen to withstand the demanding conditions of the plastic injection molding process, resulting in moulds that consistently deliver reliable and flawless door panels.
As a trusted mould manufacturer, we have built a reputation for delivering innovative solutions to automotive manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. Our moulds are designed to meet the unique requirements of each client, whether it be for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, or specialty vehicles.

FAQ
What steel materials do you use for door panel mould?
We usually use 1045 steel for mould base, 718 or P20 steel for core and cavities.
Does the mould with cold runner or hot runner?
Hot runner system.
Should customer provide product drawings if customer wants to make a mould?
Both CAD drawings and sample are OK. If customer don't have drawing, we will do reverse design to make CAD drawings according to samples provided by customer.
Will you do moldflow analysis?
Of course. Our design team will do moldflow analysis to decide the numbers of hot runner tips and its best locations.
Is moldflow analysis necessary for all moulds?
Moldflow analysis is a powerful tool that can be beneficial in the design and manufacturing process of plastic injection mould. While it is not absolutely necessary, it can provide valuable insights and optimization opportunities for creating high-quality moulds. Here are some reasons why Moldflow analysis can be useful:
- Flow analysis: Moldflow analysis allows for the simulation of the plastic injection molding process. It helps identify potential issues such as flow imbalances, weld lines, air traps, or shrinkage problems that may affect the quality of the door panel.
- Gate location optimization: By using Moldflow analysis, you can determine the optimal gate location for injecting the plastic material into the mould. This ensures proper filling, minimizes flow restrictions, and reduces the chances of defects.
- Cooling system optimization: Efficient cooling is crucial for achieving consistent part quality and reducing cycle times. Moldflow analysis can help optimize the cooling system design by identifying areas of inadequate cooling or potential hot spots, allowing for adjustments to be made to ensure uniform cooling throughout the mould.
- Warpage prediction: Door panels often require precise dimensions and flat surfaces. Moldflow analysis can predict potential warping issues, allowing for adjustments in the mould design to minimize warpage and improve dimensional stability.
