Why Should The Plastic Mold Exhaust Groove Be Cleaned In Time?

Why do you say that the plastic mold exhaust groove should be arranged in time, because if the exhaust groove is not arranged in time, there will be a lot of trouble, which will affect the production of the mold, and it will cause the part to open the exhaust groove on the parting surface of the mold cavity. Too much clamping pressure may even cause parting surface deformation and even cracking.

The parting surface of the plastic mold is where the mold gas is discharged. If the parting surface is flat, use grinding. The parting surface after grinding fits very well. The gas in the cavity should not be exhausted. An exhaust groove must be opened on one side of the cavity. If the parting surface is curved or inclined, it can be directly vented because of the precision of the processing, and there is no need to process the vent groove on the parting surface of the plastic mold.

Many plastics, after injection molding, tend to leave a small amount of residue on the surface of the vent on the mold, which is similar to plastic powder. When the time is long, after accumulating, these residues will block the mold exhaust groove, making it difficult to exhaust gas. Therefore, the exhaust slot of the plastic mold should be cleaned up in time. The exhaust groove of the mold on the parting surface is easier to clean and can be wiped off directly. The appearance of the putter may be a local exhaust chute such as a sloped roof, which is also easier to clean up, and they tend to be cleaned out because of their own movement.
