In the past years, we have finished many projects of plastic bucket mould. Regarding mould steel material, we usually select P20 or 718 as core and cavity. Sometimes, we use Be-cu inserted for fast cooling to get a short cycle time as per customer’s requirement. For bucket body mould, we usually take lifter structure for threads, and for bucket lid mould, we take forced demoulding solution for threads. Our mould is good quality and very durable. We guarantee that body and lid fit each other tightly without any water leakage.

Plastic bucket also was called plastic pail. Due to different market demands, there are various types of plastic buckets. They are with different shapes, materials, sizes and appearance.

Material of plastic bucket: virgin or recycled PP or PE.

Shapes: Round, oval, square and rectangle.

Sizes: From 1L to 30 L.

The basic features of plastic bucket mould.

 

Reasonable mould structure:

According to product features, we will decide to use slide solution or lifter solution. According to the sticker needed for the appearance of the plastic paint bucket or not, we select automatic demoulding or robot demoulding.

 

Mould steel selection:

Our engineers will suggest the suitable mould steel according to the production requirement of plastic bucket. Also the mould steel is different for different components of mould. Generally, P 20, 718H, H13, DIN1.2316 steels are mostly used.

 

Production cycle time:

If customer requires a shorter cycle time, then we need improve the mould design on cooling time. Excepting the cooling lines, be-cu material insert is very helpful to reduce cooling time. The be-cu material could be used at the areas of bucket bottom and upper ribs.

 

Mould tooling process:

Since plastic paint bucket moulds usually have higher requirements for eccentricity and sealing performance, the mould requires high grade tooling equipment. We have sophisticated machines, including high-precision five-axis CNC milling machines, Japanese Sodick mirror spark machines, etc.
